In the book The Miracle of Dates, the secret of naturally healty with dates, essay by Ahmad Salim Badwilan mentioned that there are more than 450 types of dates in the world. Some types of dates:
1. Sukkarî
The size is medium, and has a yellow color with a high level of sweetness. The outside is a bit crispy while the center is bloated. Dates scattered in the Qashim region can be eaten in all phases of growth.

18. Munîfî

This date is mature in September and can be marketed in half-baked phase. This palm tree has a low yield, approximately 70 kg/year.
19. Sibâkah

20. Rasyûdiyyah

21. Shafâwi

The smell is pleasant in the tamr phase, matured at the end of the season, used in packaging products and diteri, a in date mill factories, planted in Medina Munawarah and Yanbu areas.
22. Usailah
Excellent dry dates are planted in sandy soil. This date has a long range of 3-5 cm with a weight of 20 grams. The color is brownish yellow with a long cylindrical shape resembling the shape of Shuqa'î. This date is one of the favorites for exports abroad.
